About

Stewart Craig

Stewart is very unique in golf due to his late entry into the game. Stewart didnt take up the game of golf until the age of 21. This was due to a a very succesful career in the Korean martial art of Tae Kwon-Do. Stewart won all of the national titles in Tae Kwon-Do as both a junior and a senior. He then went on to represent Scotland and Great Britain with a the peak being winning both the European and World championships in 1991.

This experience of competing at the very highest level in sport is now standing Stewart in great stead when working with elite amatuer golfers and tour professionals competing in pressure situations.

Stewart started playing golf in 1991 and immediately acheived a handicap of 16. Within 4 years Stewart had reduced his handicap to 3.6 and the following year turned professional with a huge passion to teach the game of golf. Stewart never really had a desire to be a tour player himself which is one of the key reasons why he has become such a renowned teacher.
